Senior Digital Leader - Ysgol y Strade, Llanelli (2018-2021)
My work as Ysgol y Strade's first ever Student Senior Digital Leader has been viewed collectively over 50,000 times.
Working closely alongside the school's DCF Co-ordinator, I've helped cause a massive influx of digital use across the departments by crafting creative content (for both internal and external use), hosted staff training sessions and compèred several of the school's fundraising nights.
28-Hour Marathon Broadcast - August 2019
I stayed awake, live on air on Radio BGM for just over 28 hours to raise as much money as I possibly could for Llanelli's hospital radio station! I hosted the show, but also played a key role in the planning and organising of the project.
ITV Cymru Wales - April 2019
Thanks to a short and pleasant email exchange, I was able to visit ITV Cymru Wales' headquarters in Cardiff Bay and spend the day with the team. At first, I was only supposed to witness their morning editorial meeting, but I even went out on a report and earnt the honour of sitting in the gallery watching the 6pm news bulletin go out live!
Careers Wales' Valued Partner Awards - November 2018
The work that Principality and my school, Ysgol y Strade, had done together over the past few years won an Gold Valued Partner Award in November 2018. As our digital work was made possible thanks to that partnership, myself and a fellow student were invited to present a short presentation on our experiences.

Principality AGM - Spring 2018
Once again thanks to our school's partnership with Principality, I was part of a team of pupils asked to produce a short video of their Annual General Meeting from a young person's perspective. Personally I helped in all aspects of production, including: presenting, camera-work, conducting interviews and editing the final video.
BITC Cymru Symposium - July 2017
I was lucky enough to help host the first ever BITC Cymru Business-Education Symposium, held at the Principality Stadium in July 2017, alongside Lucy Owen from BBC Wales and other students from Ysgol y Strade. Once again, this was thanks to the partnership with Principality Building Society.
iBroadcasting - March 2017
As part of a partnership with Principality Building Society, myself and 5 other students from Ysgol y Strade were chosen as the school's Digital Pioneers, and we were lucky enough to take part in the pilot of iBroadcasting, a sport-orientated broadcasting workshop started by technology company Aspire2Be and Scrum V's Sean Holley.
I started volunteering for my local hospital radio station in late 2016, to give back to the community and also gain vital experience for a career in broadcasting. You can hear me on Saturdays between 1-4pm and Tuesdays from 5-7pm, as well as the occasional cover slot too!
